Dear Families,
We are so excited to begin reading The World According to Humphrey for our HES One School, One Book event. We will begin the first chapter on Monday, January 10th. Each week, chapters are scheduled on Monday through Thursday. Friday through Sunday are for catching up if needed.
As we read, be on the lookout for emails and reminders from Mrs. Hemme about fun events happening at school. If you have any questions, please reach out to Mrs. Wallace and Mrs. Kuhlmann.
We hope you enjoy reading this book together as a family and a school community. We look forward to the discussions and fun activities. If you are unable to read as a family, your child will still be able to participate in the activities at school. Enjoy Reading!

Discussion and Trivia Questions
The discussion questions are optional and are provided to further our thinking about each chapter. Challenge: take it one step further and complete the trivia question on the gold ticket located in the blue folder! The trivia question is due back the day after the chapter is read. There is a hamster cage (empty of course) located outside the Library Learning Commons where students can turn in their trivia ticket. We will do drawings each day for fun prizes.
