We are so excited about this school year and what it entails for every third grade student at HES! Through teamwork and dedication, each student is guaranteed a positive and successful learning experience. During the school year each third grader is presented with many new ideas and concepts, including:
- Higher level thinking skills in every subject area
- Spelling patterns and rules versus memorization
- The writing process and research techniques
- Problem solving skills
- In-depth studies of local, national, and worldwide communities
- The scientific method
- Technology
- Cursive writing
- Number concepts
