HES Safety Patrol Team

HES wants to invite ALL of our Fourth Grade students to become a member of the Safety Patrol Team. It's a wonderful way for our students to develop and practice leadership skills, as well as give them an opportunity to be a positive role model for ALL of the students in our school. We hope you are excited about becoming a member of the Safety Patrol Team this year!

Program Duties

  • Front Circle - 5 positions with at least one adult to help students enter/exit vehicles by the front doors. Help manage student behavior on the front steps while waiting to enter or leave school.

  • Crosswalk - 1 position with an adult to help students enter/exit vehicles by the gym.

  • Bike Rack - 1 position to monitor student behavior in that area of the school property. Help students lock up their bike.

  • Bus Circle - 2 positions with an adult to help students enter/exit from buses and vehicles. Also help students crossing at crosswalk to and from the middle school.
