STEM (Science, Technology, Engineering, and Math) is a designated curricular program that integrates the concept of STEM across core content areas and electives where appropriate. Our program has a strong emphasis on engineering and design thinking.

Students may enter the program through the following avenues:

• Kindergarten - 5th grade students zoned to Cannon Elementary: A GCISD STEM School

• Apply for a student transfer request to Cannon Elementary: A GCISD STEM School (other residents and non-residents)

In order to participate in the STEM program, students must transfer from their zoned campus. All transfer policies and administrative regulations apply.

Applications will close at 4 p.m. Friday, April 21.
