Pamela Brewer Papa
This is my 20th year teaching, my 9th year with Heritage Elementary and my 16th year with Grapevine-Colleyville ISD. I have a Bachelor of Science in Behavioral Science and Health and a Bachelor of Science in Communications from the University of Utah.
My husband and I have three daughters in their 20s. I am from Houston, but we have also lived on the East Coast and in the West. My family enjoys traveling, especially skiing and hiking. We also enjoy movies, reading, dog walking (Border Collies are our favorite!) and long-distance treks.
I tend to be driven by the life philosophy of "Where There is a Will, There is a Way!". One of my favorite animals is the leafy seadragon because it reminds me that, with patience and perseverance, no matter what our circumstances, we can find a way to adapt in order to become successful. It also reminds me that a successful adaptation may look very different from what we would typically expect.
