Pre-Kindergarten in GCISD

GCISD is now accepting applications for Prekindergarten for the 2025-2026 school year. To begin the process, please complete the application for the 2025-2026 school year and submit it.

If you are applying for state-funded tuition, make sure to upload the necessary documents to demonstrate your eligibility.

If you plan to pay tuition, your registration fee and deposit will be due within 5 days of receiving your confirmation in order to secure your child's seat.

Once your application is approved, you will receive a confirmation indicating that a seat has been reserved for your child.

Please note that if payments and required documents are not submitted within this timeframe, your child will be removed from the roster and placed on a waitlist.

Seats are not guaranteed until all documents and payments are received by the Prekindergarten department.

Employees of the city of Grapevine and Colleyville are eligible to enroll their children in GCISD's tuition-based pre-kindergarten program.

GCISD offers high-quality, full-day Pre-K programs at nine elementary schools. Each classroom has a fully-certified teacher and teaching assistant that provide developmentally appropriate instruction that is exciting and engaging for our students. Children must be 4 years old on or before September 1 of the school year to be eligible. If children are 5 years old on or before September 1, they qualify for Kindergarten.
