Timberline Elementary School invited a variety of professionals for their Career Day on Thursday, March 12. Throughout the day, they heard from the GCISD maintenance team, Grapevine Fire Department, Grapevine Water Works, Grapevine Police Department, a barbecue pit master, an airline pilot, a locomotive engineer, a Creature Teacher and more!

Kids Heart Challenge has started at Timberline Elementary and we can't wait for your student to join our team.We will be celebrating our hearts at school until 3/6/2026, but at home is where the real lifesaving happens. Santa accompanied the Prize Patrol to Timberline on Friday to present grants to our staff! Katie Roderick, Jenny Coffey and Irene Sotelo won incredible grants from the Education Foundation. They will use their grants to buy $5,000 in non-fiction science library books, $2,500 in dramatic play materials, and $900 in ink and paper for the workroom poster maker! Way to go, ladies!

Congratulations to all of our Spelling Bee contestants! You showed great courage and intelligence today. An especial congratulation to our winner, Caleb, and runner-up, Williams. Good luck at the Area Bee!

We had such a fun day celebrating the 67th day of school!

Big cheers for Grapevine Elementary School fifth grader Oliver Chan and Timberline Elementary School first grader Charlotte Maxwell who were the Junior Captains at last week’s varsity football game. Joe Garcia from the Grapevine-Colleyville Education Foundation, which sponsors the Junior Captains program, welcomed our students to the game.

It's time for the 2025 GCISD Holiday Greeting Card Art Contest. The theme this year is "A Holiday Journey." Art submissions should be submitted to Sra. Hernandez by Nov 12. Good luck Tigers!

Congratulations to students whose artwork was honored at Grapevine's annual Butterfly Flutterby Art Contest this weekend! In the K-1 grade category we had Honorable Mention Ailany, Third Place Xareni, and This place Hazel.

On Thursday, Timberline had a visit from Cliburn in the Classroom. This interactive presentation included a grand piano and classical music from around the world. Our Tigers had so much fun!

All students in Pre-K through 5th grade are invited to participate in the PTA Reflections contest. The theme this year is I Belong! Bring entries to the art studio or digital entries to camille.hernandez@gcisd.net by November 4th.
