With the accumulation of snow today, and anticipated below-freezing temperatures overnight, Grapevine-Colleyville ISD will be closed Friday, January 10, 2025. All facilities will be closed and any scheduled practices and activities are also canceled. Any changes to weekend extracurricular activities will be communicated by the group’s sponsor or coach. GCISD’s 2024-2025 instructional calendar has a sufficient number of minutes to cover this weather-related closure and the days will not have to be made up. Have a safe and warm weekend, and we look forward to welcoming our staff and students back on Monday, January 13! **Please note that this closure does not impact the iUniversity Prep staff or student schedule.

Our Veterans Day program is Monday, November 11 at 8:15. The grade levels performing are Kinder, 2nd, 4th and 5th. We will have seating reserved for our Veterans and their families to sit near the front. Due to space we ask that we limit our visitors to families with Veterans.

We welcome parents and family members to join us on the track Friday, November 1st for Fitness Friday. Everyone must check in at the kiosk to get a badge. If you arrive at the track without a badge a staff member will ask that you go to the front to get one. Most people drive through the front circle, hop out and grab their badge, and then park at the middle school. Hope to see you there! It is time for our HES Book Character Pumpkin Patch! Show your creative side! Design and paint a pumpkin as your favorite book character to display in the Library Learning Commons. Bring your pumpkins to the library starting on Friday, October 25th.
